Barista / Cashier for Starbucks

My first job after graduating from high school was working as a Starbucks barista. I worked with a team of 8 employees to deliver Starbucks products with high-quality customer service. My duties involved adhering to recipe standards while simultaneously responding to customer requests. My additional duties were to carry out HACCP plans by checking temperatures hourly and to follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures. I also assisted with new employee training. We often received a high volume of customers, but I maintained a calm demeanor while keeping store operations to standard. Within 2 years of working at Starbucks, I received 2 M.U.G. awards and a Green Apron Book award in recognition for my effort in creating a positive working environment.
